AI-boosted modeling for assets and grids, grounded in open-source software and relevant data.

AI data centers are growing fast, but so is electrification of everything (especially transport). GridCrunch focuses on practical modeling and planning in the energy transition domain, so you can make sound investment and infrastructure decisions.

What we do

We develop specialized AI conversational and copilot-style agents that know how to use modeling tools for the following electrification subdomains:

GridCrunch Build & Validate PoC

Feasibility and modeling for multi-site, multi-asset DER projects (solar PV, BESS, EVSE, district heating, microgrids). Conversational AI helps define projects, assemble inputs, run scenarios, and explain results. Currently available for C&I solar, storage, and EV charging in New York State.

GridCrunch Monitor & Maintain In development

Operations tracking for live sites and portfolios (dashboards, alerting, benchmarking) to complement Build & Validate in production.

GridCrunch Orchestrate In development

Integrated distribution planning, orchestration, DERMS, demand response, and GETs (DLR, APFC, topology optimization). For developers applying for interconnection, utilities, DSOs/TSOs, and aggregators.

GridCrunch Markets In development

Electricity market simulation and decision support. For developers and trading desks evaluating revenue stacks, sensitivities, and risk.

GridCrunch Flex In development

Industrial flexibility and EV fleets — load side optimization, energy efficiency, fleet schedule optimization, and charging infrastructure planning for all kinds of large energy users, including data centers and EV depots.

Industry Data

We curate vertical knowledge bases (vector DBs) and train expert language models per domain. Where useful, we connect to market, rate, and geospatial sources such as Halcyon, ENTSO-E Transparency, OpenEI URDB, gridstatus.io, and Open Infrastructure Map.

Data security

We treat customer data as confidential IP. We embrace privacy by design and will not train on your data:

  • Isolation by tenant. Each customer’s data is stored in a dedicated, access-controlled index.
  • Minimal retention. You control retention for prompts, files, and logs.
  • Access control. SSO/SAML, audit logs, IP allow-listing, and per-workspace secrets. No human review of customer data without explicit written authorization.
  • Contracts. Your organization retains IP over inputs, outputs, and derived artifacts. Data deletion SLAs apply to primaries and backups.
